Aufenthaltsdauer:

Anne Krinsky works across analogue and digital media – painting, printmaking, photography and video. Historical, geographical and visual research underpins her practice. She has made installations in response to archived materials in the US, UK and India. She is fascinated by the ways in which built and natural structures change over time. Her “Tide Line Thames’’ project explored the river and its architecture between high and low tide lines. Her video installation in the Brunel Museum’s Thames Tunnel Shaft and a digital print commission for  Canary Wharf’s Crossrail Place Roof Garden were part of London’s “Totally Thames” in 2017. Krinsky has been awarded an Artists International Development Fund Grant and two Arts Council England Grants for the Arts. She is working on a new project about wetlands and climate change. Her initial research focused on the Thames Estuary, during a 2018 Residency with METAL, in Southend-on-Sea, UK. Previous residencies include Sanskriti Foundation (Delhi), Fundacion Valparaiso (Spain), Millay Colony for the Arts (New York), Rocky Neck Art Colony (Massachusetts) and Virginia Center for the Arts.
