Lithography with Thomas Franke

Lithography is a flat printing process, i.e. all printable and non-printable areas are on the same level. You can work on the stone plate in a similar way to paper. Participants will be able to make their own artistic ideas printable: motifs can be drawn, painted, collaged or transferred directly onto the stone plate using the frottage technique. All technical steps, from grinding the stone to the finished graphic, will be learned or consolidated.
