Georgina Kiss

Hungarian author and poet Georgina Kiss (born 1986) studied Hungarian philology and philosophy at the Faculty of Literature at the University of Pécs with the aim of becoming a teacher. She received her doctorate in 2015 in the field of objective poetry in modern and contemporary Hungarian literature. She lives in Pécs, has published over 20 poems and received a number of reviews. In July 2021, she is working on new projects as a scholarship holder of the Friends of the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus as part of an exchange with the Pécs Writers Programme.
