A Boris Lurie film concert
with Rudij Bergmann (director) and Claus Boesser-Ferrari (guitar)
and catalogue presentation
For the finissage of the exhibition NEIN! Boris Lurie and NO!art, the renowned film director Rudij Bergmann presents his 2016 documentary The Art of Boris Lurie (running time: 55 min., German).
Creating a new live soundtrack to a running film is a matter close to the heart of internationally renowned guitarist and composer Claus Boesser-Ferrari – a musical adventure with an open outcome. The musical accompaniment is created in real time alongside the film and follows no fixed structure. The interplay of image and sound opens up a direct and process-oriented approach to the work of Boris Lurie.
Pre-programme: 3:30 pm: Free guided tour of the exhibition with Kebbel Villa director Jürgen Dehm.
After the film concert: Discussion with Rudij Bergmann, Claus Boesser-Ferrari and Jürgen Dehm, followed by a presentation of the exhibition catalogue.
