It was a CD recording of all Chopin études that brought the French pianist Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat to the international stages of Europe, Asia and America. He completed his studies with two students of Alfred Cortot and Edwin Fischer in Paris. His versatility was demonstrated, among other things, in performances of contemporary compositions written for him and in performing all 32 Beethoven piano sonatas. In the "Golden October", the exceptional artist is dedicating himself to a work from the late 19th century: Mussorgsky's 'Pictures at an Exhibition'.
