Venue: Sculpture park of the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus / Sperlstadl

In the first two weeks of August, the picturesque park of the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus will once again be transformed into a place full of color and creativity. Participants of all ages are welcome to take part in this popular painting event: Whether children from the age of five, teenagers, adults or whole families - everyone can take part and become artistically active together. Registration is not required.

There is a small charge for materials such as water-soluble oil paints and canvases, which are available in various sizes. What should you bring? Comfortable clothes that can withstand a splash of paint and, of course, lots of fun painting!
If the weather doesn't play along at short notice, you don't have to worry: In the adjoining Sperlstadl, all participants can continue to be creative in a safe environment.

The experienced artist and teacher Andreas Karlstetter, who has been associated with the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus for many years, will lead the event. He has lived and worked in Eichstätt since 2003, where he works as an art teacher at Gabrieli-Gymnasium. His artistic passion is primarily drawing - with a particular focus on scientifically based dinosaur reconstructions, inspired by fossils from the Altmühltal and visits to zoos. Andreas Karlstetter studied painting, drawing and printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg.

The park is also open to artists young and old on Assumption Day.
