Since the beginning of March 2025, the two artists Annelies Senfter from Salzburg and Willi Otremba from Dortmund have been living and working at the International Künstlerhaus in Schwandorf within the frame of our global exchange program "Artists-in-Residence".
On Saturday, 22 March 2025 from 14:00 to 17:00, they will open their studios to the public in order to present their latest artworks.
Annelies Senfter, born in Lienz in 1980, lives and works at Salzburg and Lienz as a visual artist, especially focused on photography, research and poetic exploration. In doing so, her oeuvre merges various forms of searching, feeling and intertwining, creating a lyrical union. Senfter received multiple awards and scholarships, furthermore, her works were represented in several single and group exhibitions in Austria within the last years.
Willi Otremba was born in Bochum in 1954. His enthusiasm for art already developed during his time at school. After training as a colour lithographer, he studied communication design and specialised mainly on watercolour painting. In merging different colour fields, Otremba creates vibrant colour compositions. His works have been shown in various single as well as group exhibitions since the mid-1970s and were honored with multiple art prizes.
