The magazine Akustik Gitarre issued a "clear recommendation" for his own compositions and his epistolary songs with quotations from Kafka, Bismarck, Scholl and many others are celebrated by the audience as a "great moment".

Johannes Öllinger (*1981 in Gräfelfing and grew up in Bad Kötzting) studied concert guitar from 2003-2006 at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin and from 2006 at the Würzburg Academy of Music with Prof. Jürgen Ruck, where he received his master class diploma in 2011. He is in demand as a guest performer with ensembles and orchestras such as Ensemble Resonanz Hamburg, Musikfabrik NRW and the Bavarian State Orchestra. He has performed as a soloist at the Konzerthaus Vienna, the Prinzregententheater Munich, the Philharmonie Cologne, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Franz Liszt Academy Budapest and the Goethe Institute Los Angeles. He was awarded the scholarship prize of the 2008 International Summer Course for New Music and the Bavarian Arts Promotion Prize in 2018. He is currently performing with Monika Drasch and Julian Pregardien.

The solo revue will take place as part of the exhibition MITGEBRACHT! From our international exchange. More information about the exhibition can be found here!
