As part of the International Weeks Against Racism, cabaret artist Christian Springer will give a reading at the Spitalkirche in Schwandorf.

Springer is an artist who addresses major social issues such as humanity, democracy, tolerance and anti-Semitism in his work. He doesn't just talk about it – he takes action: Through his aid organisation Orienthelfer e.V., he has been committed to helping people in crisis areas for years, and together with Bavarian schoolchildren, he is actively shaping a culture of remembrance. In addition, his new book ‘Sisi in Gaza’ has just been published.

The audience can expect an evening full of moving stories, insights into Springer's extraordinary life and selected passages from his often controversial books. Unique – just like Christian Springer himself.
