In this three-day course, beginners and advanced learners aged 16 and over can learn the basics of oil painting. In addition to specific instructions and guidance, participants will receive numerous tips and tricks on how to implement their ideas and create their own works of art.

The course is led by Schwandorf-based artist Michael Hottner, who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg under Professors Christine Colditz and Thomas Hartmann. He is also known to many as the course instructor for the popular “Painting in the Park” event. Works by Michael Hottner can be found in the collections of the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus.

Course fee per participant: €115.00 plus material costs

The course takes place in the studios of the International Künstlerhaus at Maximilianstraße 10 in 92421 Schwandorf-Fronberg.
