OPEN STUDIOS at the International Künstlerhaus

The sculptor and draughtswoman Agnes Lammert from Leipzig and the Ukrainian artist Anzhelika Palyvoda are currently living and working at the International Artists’ House in Fronberg.

During the Open Studios on Sunday, 27 September 2026, from 13:30 to 16:30, the two artists will open their studios and present their most recent works to the public. They look forward to welcoming many interested visitors.

Agnes Lammert (born in 1984 in Dresden, Germany) is a sculptor and draughtswoman who works in the fields of sculpture, installation and drawing. In her artistic practice, she explores forms that offer protection or can harbour life – such as caves, nests, organs and entrances. Using materials such as natural fibres, ceramics, wax, wire, concrete and bronze, she explores boundaries, vulnerability and intimacy, as well as the relationship between the interior and the exterior. Lammert lives and works in Leipzig; her works have been exhibited internationally.

Anzhelika Palyvoda (born in 2000 in Kyiv, Ukraine) is an artist based in Vienna who works in the fields of painting, installation and sound. Her practice centres on memory as a fragmented and ever-changing structure. She explores how personal and collective stories are preserved in materials, spaces and everyday gestures, and how connections can endure despite displacement, destruction or absence. In her long-term project ‘Aperta Hortus’, she examines the garden as a physical and symbolic space situated between care, loss and memory.

Following the Open Studios, the programme continues at the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus: at 17:00, pianist and composer Laura Konjetzky will present her solo programme “Die wunderbare Welt der Laura” as part of the Golden Oktober series.
